The 3rd Annual Planetary Health Meeting Begins

The fourth edition of the Planetary Health Annual Meeting begins this Wednesday in Stanford, an annual meeting open to all interested in the Planetary Health theme. It also includes a meeting of Planetary Health Alliance members, of which USP is a part. With an extensive agenda of presentations, the event will address various topics related to planetary health, such as climate change and public policy.

According to Prof. Antonio Saraiva, Coordinator of the Planetary Health Study Group of the USP Institute for Advanced Studies, this event “brings together the main leaders in the theme to exchange experiences in research and actions in various fields: education, public policy, engagement with society” . Present in all editions of the event, Prof. Saraiva points out that “the previous events were extremely inspiring in showing the justification for the necessary changes, successful actions and ways to go”.

The event takes place from September 4th to 6th and more information can be accessed at the event’s official website: https://planetaryhealthannualmeeting.org
